Introducing Phoebe – Founder & Director

After living and working overseas for 12 years as a freelance hairdresser and in management roles within the fitness industry, Phoebe returned to Ballarat in 2018 with her British husband Rob and their daughter Tilly.

Recognising a gap in the local market for high-quality property styling, Phoebe and her mum Jan launched Smuk Property Styling in 2019. Since then, the business has grown into Olive Interior Styling, now offering both Style to Sell and Style to Live services across Ballarat and beyond.

Along the way, two more daughters, Lottie and Rosie, have joined the family, Jan has retired from the business, and Phoebe has built a talented team of stylists who share her passion for beautiful, functional spaces.

With a collaborative and down-to-earth approach, Phoebe is passionate about helping clients bring out the very best in their homes, whether they’re preparing to sell or creating a home to enjoy for years to come.

Bree is a true local having lived in Ballarat her entire life.

After having worked in the business sector for just over 10 years and in the building industry, Bree took the plunge to study her Diploma of Interior Design, an area she has always been passionate about, and successfully graduated in 2023.
Bree's experience in business, construction and interior design has provided her with a versatile skill set that seamlessly aligns with her role at Olive Interior Styling. Bree is experienced in project management, client communication and team collaboration, which are all instrumental when it comes to assisting clients and the Olive team with styling properties for sale.

Bree’s attention to detail, ability to optimise and visualise spaces, and her grasp of design principles enables her to contribute to the transformation of any property into a stylish, market-ready home.

With a lifelong passion for all things interior and design, joining the team at Olive Interior Styling has been a dream come true for Christine. After having her two beautiful sons, she took the opportunity to complete an interior design course with the Interior Design Institute in Sydney. Having spent much of her career in the service industry, Christine liaises comfortably with both clients and external business partners.

More recently, Christine has utilised her design and styling knowledge to complete substantial renovations to her own home, working alongside her husband Adrian to achieve this.

Christine brings a balance of creativity and practicality to the team. Alongside property styling, she loves creating floor plans, layouts and mood boards, and of course selecting bespoke furniture and decorative items to deliver a beautiful outcome for her clients.

Bianca lives and breathes everything interior design, styling and real estate. A certified graduate of The Interior Design Institute, Bianca is passionate about creating breathtaking spaces for our clients. As a busy mum to three beautiful and energetic children, Bianca and her husband Angus have successfully built and renovated six houses. Juggling is her superpower and she is often seen effortlessly planning and curating stock for upcoming styling projects, whilst uploading to our social media pages, and managing our inventory spreadsheet. In her downtime, you'll find her hunting for irresistible furniture bargains or diving into creative DIY upcycling projects. Bianca loves coming to work at Olive to put her passion into practice.

First and foremost, Jo is a proud mum to four gorgeous children, Ella, Lucy, Jack and Tilly. Alongside her husband Matt, she has spent the last 15 years designing and project managing multiple property developments.

Upon completion of The Reno School, Three Birds Styling School and the Design School Masterclass, Jo joined Olive Interior Styling in 2021, bringing an extensive knowledge of interiors and the property styling industry to the team. She has a passion for showcasing properties at their best through careful consideration of a home’s best features and utilising clever design solutions. This, alongside in-depth planning and attention to detail delivers a successful outcome that her clients love.

Meet our cheerful and bubbly interior stylist (and all round interior goddess) Leticea.

A proud mum to Braxton and Olive, Leticea brings both heart and creativity to everything she does.

With over six years’ experience in the construction industry project managing, she has gained a deep understanding of building processes, schedules and interior selections. Alongside this, she followed her true passion and became a certified interior designer through the Interior Design Institute.
Styling has always been at the core of Leticea’s love for design. She thrives on transforming empty spaces into beautifully styled homes, bringing her vision to life and creating interiors that feel warm, functional and stunning!

Georgina grew up in Victoria’s Western District and has worked across Geelong, Melbourne, and Ballarat. She completed her Diploma of Interior Design & Decoration in 2010 and has combined her love of interiors with her love of family life and enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.

Her early passion for design started with weekends exploring antique stores, open homes and building elaborate houses out of Lego. Over the years, Georgie has developed a versatile skill set in design, project management and client collaboration, enabling her to transform any space into a functional and stylish home. She has a particular love for heritage projects, inspired by Ballarat’s rich history and architecture.
